We will be open late for our classic car buffs. Crown Point will be hosting it's weekly car show right in front of our shop! We will be open until 7 p.m. (weather permitting). This is a great opportunity to come to the shop if you can't get here during our regular business hours!
Friday, July 22 - 4th Friday Arts
We will be open until 9 p.m. on Friday for Crown Point's Fourth Friday Arts Art Walk. Inside the shop, we will be hosting artist Chic Popielarz. Chic studied oil painting technique and figure drawing at Olive-Harvey College in Chicago. Early on he worked in oil and charcoal. About 12 years ago, he began working in acrylics and acrylic enamels.
While his paintings are representational, he often uses abstract shapes and colors to suggest movement, mood or personality. Most of his recent works feature sports figures or celebrities. However, he also does portraits and whatever catches his interest. His paintings are owned by collectors from across the United States , England, Japan and Australia. New AonM vendors, Luke and Lola, feature this artist's work in their booth regularly... See some examples below! In addition, there will be other artists outside the shop lining the streets of historic downtown Crown Point!
As usual, vendors will be on hand, the store will be open for regular shopping and we will have goodies for all! We hope to see you there! The Girls at AonM
